IEMT TRAINING 21st & 22nd February 2009

This course is perfect for coaches, trainers, counsellors, therapists and practitioners in a range of disciplines. The training is intensive, it requires no specific knowledge and includes certification and the award of a 2 year IEM practitioner licence.

Andrew T Austin is the author of "The Rainbow Machine". He worked as an A and E nurse where he quickly developed a strong reputation for working with the many mental health related emergencies his department was presented with. In 1994 he began training in hypnosis and therapy at the Royal Masonic Hospital in London. He is a Master Practitioner of NLP (Society of NLP) and has trained in Time Line Therapy Practitioner (American Board of NLP) as well as NLP Trainers Training. (Society of NLP).

He is a fantastic speaker and IEMT(tm) is a great tool.

Integral Eye Movement Therapy is a brief therapy that utilises the application of neurological principles in order to generate rapid change in the area of undesired neurological imprints.

The I.E.M. therapy model answers the question, "How did the client learn to feel this way, about that thing?" and applies specific change at the right neuro-logical level.

For the practitioner, IEM Therapy is about precise calibration. Unlike other treatments involving eye movements, with I.E.M. Therapy the eye movements are not random nor simply a repetitive left and right movement in the hope that change will occur. The training provides the tools for the practitioner to precisely calibrate which axis through which to move the eyes enabling change work to occur with precision and a remarkable speed.

The "Identity and Linguistics" module teaches how to identify the behavioural and psychological patterns that are common to clients who appear to have a "resistant" problem that has defied all previous change work. Often with these clients, we can find that their therapist has been trying the right approach, but usually applying at an inappropriate level within the client's model of identity.

The 2 day course will take place at Speldhurst Village Hall, St Mary's Lane, TN3 0PR (map here). To find Speldhurst Hall you need to leave Tunbridge Wells on the A264 East Grinstead Road. This is the one passing the Spa Hotel. Two miles from the Hotel turn right at the crossroads with The Hare pub. You will know when you approach the junction as you will have slowed down for the speed camera, which is just after the Texaco petrol station. This turning is called "The Green" and it changes into Speldhurst Road near the Langton Village Hall. One and a half miles from the pub you will come across a T junction with the church in front of you. Turn left at that point and then right at the crossroads just around the corner. This junction has a violin shop with a pillar box set in the wall. St Marys road is the next left between houses. If you look for a telegraph pole with lots of wires on your right the turning is opposite. The village hall is at the end of that road.

If you need accomodation The Spa Hotel is the best hotel in the immediate area, but the Smart and Simple is not too far away either
