Wednesday 30 April

Caroline Hinks introduced us to the INSIGHTS Discovery System which depicts the personality traits identified by C. Jung using four colours. I didn't know that the terms Introvert and Extrovert were introduced to our language in the 20s by Carl Jung. There are lots of other things I discovered during the evening. Although Caroline's session was only a brief taster I have come away with useful things to try with people I work with and my family too. I am sorry if you missed it. If you want to know more Caroline is happy to be contacted via carolinetraining @ aol.com

Wednesday 28 May

Cathy Richardson (The Freedom Coach) Freedom from what you don't want . Freedom for what you do! - A very practical session that Cathy obviously spent time a lot of time planning. We left the evening with the chance to follow up the work we started. Another brief taster session that needs following up.

Wednesday 25 June

Andrew Austin. Certified Trainer of Integral Eye Movement Therapy (IEMT), author of the best selling NLP book The Rainbow Machine: Tales from a Neuro-linguist's Journal Andrew T. Austin introduced his model of Integral Eye Movement therapy.

The first two exercises of the model were covered, introducing the concept of emotional imprinting and how difficult emotional states can be addressed using the IEMT model. . www.andrewtaustin.com.

Andrew is a great speaker and I would reccomend that every practitioner trained in IEMT. Such was the interest after the workshop, and it provoked more emails than any other evening so far, we have organised a weekend IEMT practitioner training in Tunbridge Wells in February. Wednesday 30th July
Clay Lowe Working with Mandalas -

I first heard about Clay's work in January this year and was intrigued. Unable to attend a Workshop at that time, I contacted Clay who very kindly agreed to bring one to us, all the way from Leamington Spa !

I have to say I was delighted with the attendance ~ 20 people in all, including several new to the group. I came away inspired and can well see me using this in certain client settings. Whilst being mindful that in a therapeutic setting, it is essential to recognise it is the meaning that the client attaches to the symbols that is important, I would like to spend more time looking at the history and meaning behind symbols used and the choice of colour.
Clay is a very inspiring speaker and I will certainly be looking out for workshops that he's presenting in the future .

Among the books recommended by Clay were;- The Mandala of Being by Richard Moss,

The Hero With a Thousand Faces by Joseph Campbell,

Mandalas for Medition by Reudiger Dahlke and

Reflections on the Art of Living- A Joseph Campbell Companion

Wednesday 27 August Bee-Leaf ~ on Beyond the POND

Milton Erickson told his children a story of Froggy Whitebelly who lived in a pond, believing it to be the boundaries of the whole world. Ericksonian Hypno-Psychotherapist and NLP Certified Trainer, Pamela Gawler-Wright, revives this metaphor in the POND Model, a new innovation that explores how the modal operators of possibility, permission, obligation, necessity and desire define for us our known universe. Through new active exercises and enriching background concepts, Pamela offers processes to harness and release energy and wisdom to change the frontiers of our personal maps. The POND model has been used within coaching, therapy and team-building contexts to enable individuals and groups to make innovative and life-changing leaps from their lily pads, to a wider world beyond.

Wednesday 24 September Don Ely on "EFT and Beyond"

Don will covered the following:-

> Review of the underlying principles of EFT
> Demonstration of EFT
> Discussion of the use of EFT as an ajunct to other therapies including
> Hypnotherapy and Meta Medicine

Wednesday 15 October.Diana Coldman on Working with Crystals.

It's a subject that many still consider 'new age' or 'weird' yet the energy from crystals is being harnessed in many high tech industries and is considered to be extremely stable and safe. Diana talked about the properties of a range of crystals and how they can be used to help rebalance and heal physical and emotional disturbances. There was a display of many pieces and recomended book titles will appear here soon..

Wednesday 29 October The language of influence - inside the Milton Model with Michael Carroll

A great evening that started with a useful refresher of the beginnings of NLP that turned into a story that enTRANCED everyone. A good expereince on all levels. For some of the beginners the experience of mass trance induction (how did that happen?) and for the more experienced the opportunity to disassociate (with difficulty) and model the expert. I think it was a stimulating, enjoyable evening for all levels of expertise. Needless to say this one goes into the top ten by size of audience.
